Rosie Hole has an extensive background in the screen industry, with expertise across commissioning, acquisitions, distribution, funding, and financing in Aotearoa and internationally. As the Commercial & Business Affairs Manager for Hinterland, Rosie delivers bespoke financing solutions to NZ and Australian producers, with a focus on cashflow lending for screen productions.
Rosie was previously an Investment Executive at the New Zealand Film Commission, where she was responsible for assessing production funding applications and informing investment decisions. Rosie spent nearly a decade in London with the Universal Pictures Content Group, acquiring feature films, documentaries, and alternative content for global distribution across all platforms. Her portfolio of acquisitions includes films that screened at premium festivals including Sundance and Annecy.
Rosie has been part of the inaugural Rainmakers Aotearoa programme run by Script to Screen in collaboration with the Compton School, through which she has been exploring how to increase private investment into New Zealand films.
