Congratulations to Amanda Jane Robinson, winner of the 2025 South Pacific Pictures 'BIG PITCH' Competition with Documentary / True Crime Series Pitcairn.
As this year's 'BIG PITCH' winner Amanda receives $2500 towards the development of her project, a Complimentary Registration to the 2026 Spada Conference, and a surprise additional prize of $1500 USD Delta travel vouchers courtesy of sponsor TAG.
The South Pacific Pictures 'BIG PITCH' Competition offered six finalists five minutes each to pitch their project to delegates during the Great Screenrights Lunch at the 30th Spada Conference in Auckland on November 2025. The standard of pitches was extremely high with judges having to make a challenging decision across the six projects.
In order of delivery, the six 2025 South Pacific Pictures BIG PITCH Competition finalists were:

- THUNDERLIPS (Jordan Windsor & Sean Wallace) - PISSED - Feature Film / Black Comedy
- Arvid Eriksson - Cold Cuts - Series Black Comedy
- Amanda Jane Robinson - Pitcairn - Series Documentary / True Crime (WINNER)
- Rachel Fawcett, Ryan O'Kane & Emma Leonard - God Awful - Series / Comedy
- Lucy Timmins - The Bug Club - Short Form Series / Children's Fantasy
Congratulations to you all for delivering sizzling pitches across the board. This year we received a record 67 applications for the South Pacific Pictures 'BIG PITCH' Competition, proving that creativity remains strong across the sector.
