South Pacific Pictures' Pitching Competition

The South Pacific Pictures' Pitching Competition takes place during the Great Screenrights Lunch on Friday 17 November. The pitching competition is open to all SPADA Conference 2006 registered delegates.  The pitch can be for a television or film project in any genre.

The winner will receive a Voyage Affaires' air travel prize to an international market or festival* and a complimentary registration to SPADA conference 2007.

The skill of pitching is difficult to master, and is a part of the business many people struggle with. A good idea is not enough - you need to be skilled in communicating ideas and selling a creative package to potential financiers.

he goal of the pitching competition is to recognize and encourage an outstanding concept and also to provide career development for the participants, through training and the process of public pitching. The pitching competition also inspires and benefits both the participants and audience, as all delegates can learn from the pitching process and judges.
